For our US-based REDMAGIC fans, we’ve launched the Seel Worry-Free Purchase option on our website that guarantees you secure shipping. In this blog article, we look into how the Seel platform works and how you can use it to make your online shopping safer and less stressful.
The Seel Worry-Free Purchase option provides you with an add-on protection cover during the checkout process. This is a basic guarantee that covers the cost of any in-transit issues, including theft, delay, loss, or damage. Essentially, this is a minuscule added charge that you can choose to add to your cart that will allow Seel to process any return or damage reimbursements without any stress. So, how does this work and why is it better?
On the US REDMAGIC website, you’ll find the Seel Worry-Free Delivery option at the bottom of the product page or your checkout page when you make a purchase. This assures you that you will be refunded in full if your order doesn’t arrive in the correct condition described, is damaged in transit, or is lost along the way.

The smart team at Seel uses data collected from return likelihood, product usage, web sessions, and cart data to generate the appropriate coverage price for each item. The payment is simply integrated into the overall purchase at the end. If you don’t want Seel to protect your order, you can deselect from the checkout page anytime.
After you place the order successfully, Seel will also send you a confirmation email from support@seel.com.that outlines the specific coverage provided for your order. Requests are resolved in as little as a day, and refunds are instant via PayPal and Venmo.
After buying the Worry-Free Purchase service, you have the right to claim a payment if your package arrives damaged, is lost, or arrives too late. However, there are certain requests and steps you must take to get there:
To Claim Damages: If your REDMAGIC product is damaged upon arrival, you must report the damaged package within 7 days from the date of delivery through the Seel Resolution Center. You’ll initiate the request using your email and the order number found in the confirmation email. Please ensure that you take photos of the package or item damage to provide as evidence when submitting your order.

The Worry-Free Purchase service covers shipping-related damages to the point that the item(s) are unusable, clearly fractured, shattered, bent (if not bendable), crushed, and more. However, it does not cover cosmetic damage, like scratches, dents, etc. The compensation for damaged items will be up to the value paid for the purchased item(s).
To Claim Loss: For products that are lost, you can report the issue once 10 days have passed (only for domestic shipments). Please initiate the request through the Seel Resolution Center using your email and order number found on the confirmation email.
However, Seel will not cover issues where the item is not shipped out. Please contact the REDMAGIC Tech team directly in that case.

To qualify for the payout, you’ll need to follow the reporting time requirements:
Issues of Loss/Theft:
I have not received my packages even though it shows "Delivered" : Must be reported within 7 days from the date of delivery.
I have not received my package within 10 days of dispatch for domestic shipments, or within 30 days for international shipments: Must be reported within 7 days from the date of delivery.
Shipping information shows an exception due to unforeseen circumstances like fire or road accident: Could be reported immediately.
Damage-related issues: Must be reported within 7 days from the date of delivery.
Delay-related issues: Must be reported within 90 days from the date of purchase.
What counts as a delay: A shipment is considered delayed if it takes more than 10 days after dispatch for domestic deliveries, or more than 30 days after dispatch for international deliveries.
To apply for a claim with Seel, simply visit the Seel Resolution Center to submit a claim request for a further return or refund. Alternatively, you can simply click the "Report an Issue" link in the Policy confirmation email sent by Seel once the order is placed.


However, the claims process will also need supporting evidence for the Seel team, which is why they’ll ask for supporting documentation to process your refund or return.
The process of claiming your Seel Worry-Free Purchase coverage has a minimum amount of red tape and will simply require a few identifying documents and photographic proof. These are some of the documents you’ll be asked to provide to the Seel team:

When the item(s) are damaged during transit, we need to evaluate the nature, cause, and impact of the damage. To file and qualify for a claim of damage, the following supporting documents are required:
- Clear photo(s) of the carrier packaging and product package
- Clear photo(s) of how the item(s) are damaged
The payout amount for damage is determined by the evaluation results, up to 100% of the purchased value, depending on how the damage affects the usability of the item(s).
Please note that damage to packaging without affecting the item(s) inside, and clear pre-shipment item defects are not covered. The supporting documents you provide will directly affect our evaluation. Please make sure to provide detailed evidence to facilitate your resolution process.
a. If the shipment is marked as "lost" or "Problems" by the carrier, please contact Seel Customer Service, and we will process it immediately.
b. If the shipment has shown a "delivery" scan, but was not received, we encourage you to look around in your neighborhood or mail hub first. If, however, you still can’t find your package, we might need one of the following as the supporting document to qualify for a claim of loss:
- Police report
- Security footage
- Carrier letter
- Written documentation from an authority/leasing office detailing
- Contact Seel Customer Service via support@seel.com for more information if you have any questions about the document.
No supporting docs are required for a claim of delay. Such cases will be automatically judged based on the tracking information of your package's tracking number.
Once your claim has been submitted, choose your preferred payment method from PayPal, Venmo, or debit cards. Seel will process your application within 48 hours.
After the application is approved, the money or refund will be returned to your selected payment method. Generally, the entire process will be completed within 2 days.

If your claim is verified and valid, Seel will contact you again to run through the next steps to your return or refund.
Once your payout request has been processed, reviewed, and accepted, you will have to choose a method of payment. Seel supports payout in one of the following four options:
PayPal: Supports multi-currency transfers. Funds will arrive 1 hour following return acceptance.
Venmo: Supports USD transfers. Funds will arrive 1 hour following return acceptance.
Direct Deposit: Supports USD transfers via a US bank account ACH transfer. Funds will take 1-3 business days to arrive following return acceptance. This option is only available for transactions in USD.

The Seel service is only an option at the checkout page and can be removed or cancelled any time before the purchase is made. However, if you’ve already made the purchase and did not mean to add the Seel service, simply reach out to our REDMAGIC team for assistance on cancelling your order before the order is shipped out
If your packages have not been shipped and you want to cancel the total order, you can contact REDMAGIC Tech Customer Service at support@redmagic.tech to make a request. Seel will be canceled immediately if your orders are successfully canceled, and the money will be refunded via your original payment method.
If your orders have already been shipped and you want to cancel, Seel is generally considered effective and non-refundable. Please contact REDMAGIC Tech Customer Service at support@redmagic.tech for any questions.
