Should I Invest in the REDMAGIC 11 Pro or 11S Pro?
Having released two groundbreaking gaming phones recently, it may be a bit difficult to choose between them. u/Round-Handle-8456 posed the question of which device to look into buying. While both devices are exceptional in their own ways, the choice is ultimately based on what you need the device for and what you’ll be looking to achieve.
When comparing the devices, the REDMAGIC 11S Pro stands out with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Leading Version and a more advanced liquid cooling system. In terms of speed, the 11S Pro GPU clocks up to 4.74GHz, also ensuring a 19% upgrade in CPU performance and 24% better GPU performance, compared to the 11 Pro.
The 11S Pro’s innovative cooling system has also been upgraded to a larger 105 mm² area for improved heat dissipation. This ensures 2 - 3°C lower temperatures than the REDMAGIC 11 Pro during peak performance. Ultimately, if you’re someone who would appreciate a power and speed boost with enhanced cooling, the 11S Pro would make more sense. However, if you’re comfortable with the OG specs, the 11 Pro can remain your sweet spot for now.

Will There Be a 1TB Version of the REDMAGIC 11S Pro?
Storage capacity is always a touchy subject for most gamers looking to download large files. On Reddit, u/Individual_Hyena_460 questioned whether there would be a 1TB version of the 11S Pro on the horizon soon. For now, however, there is no 1TB model of the 11S Pro in production.
Currently, the 11S Pro comes in two variations with up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage and up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra memory. Nightfreeze offers a 12 + 256GB or 16 + 512GB model, while Subzero comes in the 16 + 512GB model alone. However, our team will take all your feedback into account when we hit the design boards once more.

Do I Always Need a Phone Cooler to Play in Rise Mode?
Gaming can be a very demanding task, which is why we have accessories to ease the burden of heavy gameplay. To understand our stance, u/Atemthe7th posed a few questions about REDMAGIC phones. Primarily, they wanted to know if a cooler is entirely necessary for Rise gaming mode.
Now, we must stress that the Rise performance mode will probably generate a bit of heat during intense gameplay, but it will depend on the type of game you choose to play as well. AAA games are extremely demanding and will push up the temperature a lot faster. However, Rise mode does not necessarily need a cooler attachment for regular gameplay.
We should also reiterate that the 11S Pro is primed for heated sessions with our upgraded AquaCore liquid cooling system, featuring Liquid Metal 3.0, a 13,116 mm² vapor chamber, and a 24,000 RPM turbo fan.
When it comes to sustained gameplay, the 11S Pro went up against the 11 Pro in a 60-minute Genshin Impact gameplay test at maximum graphics settings. In the end, the 11S Pro cooling lowered the peak temperatures by 6%, delivering smoother and more stable gameplay performance with a 60.93 average FPS and 42.9°C peak temperature.
For games like Genshin Impact and Wuthering Waves, gameplay in Balanced mode would still be decent enough. However, if you feel like you’d be playing demanding games often, we have a variety of REDMAGIC coolers, cooling cases, and accessories that can effortlessly ensure a balanced performance.

Can I Buy a REDMAGIC Device from a Third-Party Store?
Buying your REDMAGIC device can be exciting, but you should always go about it in the safest way. u/ZucchiniAny7674 asked about the legitimacy of certain third-party vendors that are selling REDMAGIC devices online. Now, we have to stress that this is something we do not recommend you do, even if the sites are legit.
REDMAGIC cannot provide additional support for purchases from third-party stores. This means that third-party devices will have no after-sales support should your device run into any issues. These devices are also void of any warranties or confirmed features and settings advertised by REDMAGIC.
We recommend that you always buy your devices from the official REDMAGIC store for the best experience, support, and assurance. If you choose a third-party vendor, you will be doing so at your own risk.

How Does the 11S Pro Handle Heat in Long Gaming Sessions?
Looking to play longer sessions, u/Stamkosisinjured asked about the ability of the 11S Pro to handle the heat of longer gaming sessions. Fortunately, the 11S Pro was primed for the long haul, easily providing stable thermal control under sustained 1-hour heavy gaming loads.
According to our lab tests, the 11S Pro reaches a maximum rear temperature of 38.7°C during FPS gameplay with up to 144Hz with extreme graphics settings in play. The phone also survives open-world gameplay at 60Hz on the highest graphics settings with a low 39.1°C maximum rear temperature.
Armed with a superior liquid cooling system, charge separation, and optimized heat management driven by a dedicated gaming chip, the 11S Pro is ideal for handling longer gaming sessions without burning up.

Are REDMAGIC Phones Very Heavy?
To round off this collection, u/Worth_Call_5091 asked whether REDMAGIC 9, 10, or 11 Series phones are particularly heavy and uncomfortable to hold, potentially causing wrist pain or finger numbness after playing games for 2-3 hours. All our gaming phones are crafted with comfort and durability in mind, taking into account that our fans will be spending hours on end holding these devices.
With no camera bump for a clean and comfortable grip, the 11S Pro also weighs a light 230g for a seamless gaming session that won’t make your fingers numb or give you any wrist pain. Our adept shoulder triggers can also be used to strategically hold the device in a more comfortable position.
However, if you’re still concerned, we would recommend the REDMAGIC 11 Air, which features a vibrant, slim, and lightweight transparent frame that’s designed to be ergonomic and comfortable to hold, with subtle curves to ensure a comfortable grip for hardcore gamers.
She also asked in the same post about the display and whether the 144Hz refresh rate is enough for competitive mobile gaming. Here, we have to agree. The 11S Pro features a premium, 6.85-inch full-screen AMOLED display for precise details, vibrant colors, and seamless immersion that’s necessary for FPS and MOBA gameplay.
A 144Hz ultra-high refresh rate and 1.5k resolution provide sharper visuals and ultra-smooth motion for faster reactions and precision aim, while Magic Touch 4.0 allows a 3,000Hz instant touch sampling rate with 10% improved touch accuracy and enhanced stability to reduce mis-taps during intense gameplay.
To add to that, our dedicated RedCore R4 gaming chip is also designed to elevate performance and cooling through customizable in-game effects, Qualcomm-driven 2K super-resolution smooth visuals, and intelligent power and heat management.
