REDMAGIC Astra 2 Gaming Tablet

Good tablet for the price it's amazing a bit expensive but good 👍 only issue I have currently is the audio fading when no headphones and that does suck since I been using mine for music while I do other things and it sounds weird/fading other than that gaming is amazing so far and performance on my daily activities.

It feels great in the hands of i have an ipad mini and it a little heavier than that by feel but in a good way nothing about it feels like it will break or needs to be treated like its fragile. Performance wise i am amazed i dont run much consistently on any of my devices since they get uncomfortable warm or run out of power but so far in the process of setting it up streaming youtube and palying some installed emulated game while everything else is going on in the background it’s powering through and staying in a nice comfortable temp and i haven’t run the battery down again i am amazed i love it

My sister received it for me and will be delivered to me in the next week as I was out of the country. I previously owned a redmagic 9 pro, and I had not experienced one single problem while playing on it in about 2 years that had been with me. I am already exited and Know what to expect from the tablet once I fully have it on my hands.

Quality is excellent. All-metal frame feels solid and premium, 363g and 6.9mm so it sits well in the hands for long sessions. Dual USB-C is a real plus—one for charge, one for a controller or display. IP54 and Gorilla Glass 3 give it extra durability.
Value is strong for the hardware. You get flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, 185Hz 2.4K OLED, liquid cooling, and an 8300mAh battery in a 9-inch slate. Games look and run better than on most phones or larger tablets at this size.
Performance is the standout. Max settings stay locked with no thermal drop-off. Liquid cooling plus the vapor chamber actually works—the back stays usable even after hours of Genshin, WuWa, or emulators. Touch sampling is instant. Bypass charging means you can play plugged in without cooking the battery.
User experience is clean for a gaming tablet. RedMagic OS is fast, game tools are useful (refresh rate, triggers, performance modes), speakers are loud enough with DTS, and haptics are decent. Screen is bright outdoors and colors pop. Battery easily lasts a long session; 75W tops it up quickly.
Design is compact and gamer-focused without being tacky. 16:10 OLED is perfect for games and video. RGB on the back is optional. Side fingerprint is reliable. Only cameras are basic, which doesn’t matter for how I use it.
Would buy again. Best portable Android gaming device I’ve owned.

Overall a great product that exceeded my expectations! Would highly recommend to anyone who is into mobile games. Graphics are insane, navigated smoothly, and feels great upon holding it in your hands (very sturdy). Purchase and shipment was seamless too!

So far I've played multiple games, watched music videos and shows and this form factor is great for everything. It's also pretty comfortable to hold unlike some bigger tablets. For the hardware that the Astra 2 is packing, this seriously impressive

I got this for my son, although i think I'm more exited about it. The display and performance are just incredible. This replaced my sons ipad, he hated his ipad, he loves this thing. Can't wait to play it when he's at school!!!!

I really like the screen size; the OLED quality is very noticeable, with bright colors and great performance. I’ve owned several RedMagic products—like phones—but never a tablet, and I have no regrets.
